Fraser, you can't make threads in Gold Talk. Please remember for the future.
It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

first season back in the top flight at home to Coventry standing on the Holmesdale and it pissed down the whole game and got soaked only wearing t shirt and jeans and was such a dire perfomance as well watching paint dry was more exciting and to top it off we lost 1-0

I reckon the 5-0 drubbing at Wigan live on Sky takes some beating. I remember two or three seasons ago we played Reading at home, think we lost 1-0 and it was an evening game. First time ever I have come out of the ground feeling physically sick with frustration.

Think it was 2002-2003 season. Sheffield Wednesday at home, 0-0 with no shots on target in the entire game! No atmosphere and the only entertaining thing was when the lines man pulled his hamstring. Mind you I think we had Akinbyi and Adebola up front!

Round about 90-91 against QPR game ended 0-0 and apart from the ref getting a ball square in the face and being subbed and Collymores debut, nothing happened at all. No shots, few tackles and very little of anything else.

Loads of them! The older ones tend to fade in the memory a bit but the Crewe game at home last season would take some beating. And Fraser cannot start a new thread in Gold Talk because that's where great threads that are preserved for posterity are moved. It therefore completely misses the point to start a new topic there.
Goodness is what you do. Not who you pray to. |

I was there and if I remember it was a freezing cold day and we started chanting Collymores name even though we didn't know him and he just looked at us rather bemused! Quote Jimble at 02 Jun 2005 10:56am

Pinch me, I'm dreaming, but if it is don't let me know. |
