Irish protesters set fire to a former factory that was gonna house migrants in Dublin. There has also been many protests in the past few months.

With the EU about to tell Ireland to take a larger share and with an election looming there may be more examples of this to come.

With governments here in the UK and throughout Europe not taking note of a large section of the population (and majority in some cases) it's surprising that this hasn't happened elsewhere.

Do people think it is just a matter of time as the problem of where to fit the large numbers influxing Western countries increase?

The EU says jump and Ireland says how far.

FG / FF are not loosing any voters over it so they arnt worried. It's SF who are supposed to be on the people's side who will loose the votes.

Nothing will change and the great people replacement will continue in Ireland.

I thought we say, "Show us the money" and then "yes, sir". The basic generalisation I'll make is that the working classin Ireland (which is a lot of the non working class too) don't like the immigrants. And I'll include even the Ukrainians in that. But in Ireland, we've a load of hippyish, do good, virtue signallers, they/them, tree hugging, all black is good types basically undermining and ruining things for everyone else. They're unfortunately more and more in the ruling class. Even if you're not like that - you're severely policed in Ireland. I'm constantly called a racist for wanting to control immigration. And that is not an exaggeration.
What Ireland fails to understand is that not all immigrants are noble or even poor. But have a different skin colour and you'll get everything immediately for free. It's assumed you need benefits and housing. Hilariously the virtue signallers fail to see that that is far more of an assumption, stereotype and racist than judging people on an individual basis. Perhaps this is a western phenomenon.
As for the OP, it's not having an effect on immigration numbers not deterring the government. As for services and housing - we literally barely had them anyway. Now even less. Our infrastructure is certainly comparable to Eritrea.

I think there's another peaceful march/protest in London next saturday against islamic fundermentalism in this country and the high levels of immigration.

Maybe we'll see more and more of these soon both here and in Europe and then maybe the politicians may listen!!

And get that Polish female MEP to have another go!!

The irish politicians have a long history of ignoring the democratic voice of the people.

2004 citizenship referendum , Lisbon treaty , Morocco treaty on migration , Warplanes at Shannon airport , military neutrality ,
the new hated hate-speech laws , etc etc .

The brits didn't listen to the votes of the irish in 1919....and it led to a War of Independence.

The recent referendum on family Law was a massive 'feckoff with your woke shyte" to the government.

Do not be surprised if 'the Troubles 2.0" starts in places like Coolock. Another incident like the Parnell Street stabbings of primary schoolkids ....and the whole place is already a tinderbox.

Formerly the IRA fought the invading & occupying Brits. Recent protests by the irish have had the odd Welsh flag, in solidarity with Llanelli. Quite an about-turn.

If a reborn IRA sees all the bother emanating from Brussels , that would likely be the place they would express their outrage. The lessons of history being repeated and all that. A Bishopsgate style outrage ( in Frankfurt, brussels, or Luxembourg ) would crash the currency & stockmarkets in a single morning.

The Third Plantation of Ireland has already been a disaster. As were the previous two.

Putin would love the Western fringe of the EU to go ballistic. It's probably his plan all along. Stir up the shyte.

Extremism is always bad....but one extremism often begets a backlash, a pendulum swing. Curiously the Southern Irish have huge animosity for Sinn Fein and many would prefer cordial relations with the Orangemen in the North - whom they are now seeing as less treacherous than their own government. At least the Unionists tell the truth most of the time.

The West seems to be lining itself up for a bunfight between the left and the right. As in 1640 these things often start at the periphery. I want to emigrate to a cabin in the woods of Norway.

Serious point can you please clarify the previous 2?

I assume one is the King James 1, which is the other? I know so little about Irish history l suspect that goes for many Brits.
