Have you noticed hotels are going to the dogs? Many seem to have lost there customer care Staff seem unhappy, and housekeeping are not servicing rooms Sometimes till very late in the afternoon, or trying to use the old save the environment time and reuse your towels and sheet to help save the planet.

Indeed I pass that one on my way to work and looks truly drab.
Most of my colleagues who travel down to Croydon stay in the Leonardo (formerly Jury's Inn) which is a tad better...

The biggest problem especially for the chain hotels is that it's far more profitable to house illegal immigrants rather than a family wanting a weekend break or a business person needing a couple of nights stay whilst attending a conference.

It depends on length of stay but if it is 2/3 nights I actually don't want house keeping. They are always moving my stuff around. Quite happy to use one towel and make my own bed. Recently stayed in a hotel left the Do Not Disturb sign outside whilst I had a shower, when the knocking started. I assumed it was another family member and rushed out sopping wet only to be greeted by the house keeper, just checking that I didn't want to be disturbed. One more point

Holiday inn express last week had a sign about towels in a pile are washed but it damages the environment etc. used every one so feck the dolphins

In a Travelodge this w/e in N'ton at the GP. Normal price for 3 night stay, £196.00. Price just for l/n £268.00 that's just for one Saturday night in a travelodge. That's what the British GP does. This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I book premier inns in epsom and sutton usually 35 pound a night when I book well in advance. Also handy I can change the dates for free if a fixture gets changed. They do the job.
