Whilst like most Palace supporters, I am very proud of the players representing their Countries at various tournaments Globally, I am concerned as to how this effects pre-season training and the beginning of the season.

I would imagine that the 5 lads in the Euro's will be given time off. As we have 2 games in the US, our 3 lads that are already there might join up, tho tbf, i'd expect them to be given time off as well. Not sure about Ayew as he's been with Ghana.

So, i'd expect it to be a bit like last pre-season with all the 'fringe' 1st teamers & the good Academy lads(those that haven't gone out on loan) to be involved.

Or, i could be totally wrong . . .

With Gareth’s help 3 of them won’t need extra time off

If I were you, I'd be more concerned about how many of them will still be Palace players.

More than the click-baiters would have us believe.

It’s a problem all top flight teams have most years, quite often teams start seasons under cooked and under prepared.
We don’t do ourselves any favours with long trips abroad for friendlies, but it’s all about the money.
The season takes time to get going anyway with early international breaks
