the great pp arnold, 78 years young is playing in my local 2nite. paid the £33 for the ticket, had to print the confirmation off but I'vee got an email saying I have to scan the bar code to get to the app cos the ticket only works in the app. WTF! Is a paper receipt not enough or does some intervening IT scheister have to take his cut? You waana buy a pint on hastings pier - you need an app! I ask you, what utter b0ll0x. I refuse to have a smart phone - idiots scrolling while walking into you, kids in a virtual nightmare - all social control. I zombie couch potato on my lap top at home but don't need to do it 24/7. I'm a digital dinosaur and proud - I refuse to become a teletubby shouting again, again as I scroll towards ADHD. If my local does not let me in 2nite with a paper receipt and insists on me producing a non existent smart phone with a needless app, then you will see me on the news tomorrow morning - my dark side will surface. Alanis Morisette is not fit to wipe the ar*e of PP Arnold - a divine force, 78 and belting it out like Noddy Holder. I bought her biography, she signed it, and because I don't have a smart phone I did not insist on a poxy picture and infilcted some some tedious schpiel but merely said 'that was wonderful, thank you so much' and she clasped her hands together and bowed sweetly with the grace of an authentic star.
