Our star players want to think very carefully about what sort of football they want to be playing through such short careers.
The difference in style between England and Palace is massive in our favour.
Gifted skilful players are at home suddenly on the pitch in a Palace shirt.
All the talent in the England shirts tonight were lost at sea.
Glasner has transformed us in just a few months.

I watched that rubbish last night, and, to think some on here wanted Southgate as our next manager when Roy left.

If I wanted an HR or diversity manager, then I would look to Southgate. If I wanted someone to ensure England players fulfil their potential, I would not even consider Southgate. I really hope that he never gets anywhere near being Palace manager.

Agree with everything that has been said on here , if we win anything it will be despite of the manager not because of him. The country and the FA needs to get away from the stupid idea that the England team has to be managed by an Englishman . You most probably have to go back 40 years to find an English manager who has won an international trophy either for club or country

The tactics are wrong to put it simply. Too slow, too predictable, too readable. Waiting for someone to do something world class is not actually a tactic. Yet that's what England are doing. You can't wait - you have to make it happen. How many times are we going to have to see this? What has been learnt, what will change? Likely more of the same. It's been going on for a good while now.

No plan , no cohesion , no quality, no threat. Must be frustrating for the likes of Wharton and Eze. They should start.

Let's hope Wharton and Eze are realising the benefits of playing for a really good modern manager at club level with a very impressive style of football. There aren't many about.
