That is some squad, no room for Wilf, Budgie Byrne or Don Rodgers?

I would probably have gone with John Jackson instead of Burridge -

Byrne and Roger’s were just before my time, but yes Wilf I’ve had a brainstorm, how could I forget him?

Again spot on, but JJ was just before my time, Paul Hammond was in goal by the time I started going

I'll do a 2000 onwards squad based on each player's peak at Palace:

Speroni
Guaita
Johnstone

Wan-Bissaka
Munoz
Boyce
Sakho (tailed off but that loan spell was world class)
Guehi
Andersen
Fonte
Cole
Mitchell

Cabaye
Doucoure
McArthur
Jedinak
Loftus-Cheek (Wharton is close)
Ambrose
Moses
Zaha
Eze
Olise

Morrison
Murray
Johnson
Mateta

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

Excellent

It’s tougher than I thought this, I had no room for Muzza and AJ, maybe I should’ve done a 30 man squad

Makes you realise how many top players we’ve actually had over the years

Kevin Mabbutt was one of the best players I ever saw in a Palace shirt. Sadly it wasn't for long. He's one of a very small number of players to score a hat-trick against ManU at Old Trafford. It wasn't for us though!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
