Normally these attacks only make a couple inches of news-print. And instantly forgotten in the memory hole.

The only difference with Mannheim is the camera recorded it well. And then the video clip went viral. All the other attacks are shocking, but no readers ever got shocked.

today Mannheim, tomorrow Malmo, the next day Parnell Street Dublin.
