Probably nonsense. He was a promising player but in the last 3 years he's had 8 injuries and 606 days out.

Or company for Ferguson in the medical suite.

It's another Ferguson is the making.

When fit he would be a tremendous wing back but there is the problem Spurs have had with keeping him fit.

He broke down again on his return from injury this year

Limit the risk by saying giving him a 1 year contract with the club having the option to extend. If still injured through 24/25 then he can be released.

More than likely he might get offered better terms elsewhere.

Would prefer Doughty at Luton.

On a free and only 24,

I like this one, yes a risk with injuries but imo worth the gamble. Free transfer and wages could be low base with the remainder made up per appearances.

Mitchell does need competition/backup and other options would cost a lot.

Ferguson…..the second ?

Hopefully we have moved past picking up cheap players that nobody else wants because they are injury prone. It’s a false economy.

He's a throw or the dice for a promoted club. Low wage while he proves himself. If they get lucky and he stays fit, that's a huge positive for them.

I'm not so sure he's a risk worth taking for us. We need somebody who is going to be fit and compete with Mitchell all season.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Torn on this. Right age, right position, right England academy background, wrong injury record.

Someone broken that often may simply take Ferguson's berth in the treatment room.

But what if the price is right and he doesn't?

I would not weep if he went back to Fulham (most likely) but if he excels there I for one will be almost as annoyed as Ollie Watkins choosing Villa over us.

Tottenham are short of left back options and had to play a right back and centre half in the role when the first choice player was injured.
If they're releasing Sessegnon you have to assume that his fitness issues are a significant part of the decision.
It certainly wouldn't be reasons of ability as he was one of the best young left sided players around.
With that in mind he may be worth a pay when play one year deal, with an option to extend.
Doesn't mean he would accept this arrangement though.
