It’s a well reasoned and sensible decision which ought to send a message to everyone with a strong religious belief about where the lines are drawn. Religion is for home and in places of worship. It has no place outside, at school, at work, in the street, or in government.

They're not going to exclude half of the students when they still just do it anyway. Nor are police going to investigate the bomb and death threats. Fifty percent of the students are Muslims but that's not astonishing.

That said, there is only one major religion where a proportion of its followers are a global problem.

I see architects drawings every day for new build office blocks, schools, hotels, airports, hospitals etc. and I'd say that at least 75% of them contain a prayer room. They're almost becoming as much as a requirement as accessible WC's

Better there than in the middle of a public space.

The only reason for prayer rooms is the demands of muslims, not any other religious group. So it is reasonable to say the previous norm in the UK is being changed to cater for a minority group that the powers that be are terrified of refusing. Every purpose built prayer room is costing investors or taxpayers extra as the space could be used for something else. The joke is these rooms are often labelled as " multi faith " to give the impression that they are not there for one group
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
