Assuming for now that we stay up, and nobody gets poached, what business do we do? For me: Clyne, Ferguson, Tomkins, Jairo go. I’d give Hughes and Ward another year, maybe Jeff depending on business elsewhere. No1 priority is a LWB. Not sure who, but in the Munoz mould. Young CB, Ronnie Edward perhaps. Young forward, Morgan Whittaker maybe Jaden Philogene More experienced forward player, maybe Kamada, would be free and has played for Glasner before

Priority to get rid of the high earning 'deadwood' and a few others like Edouard if we can make a profit. Is rumoured we are needing to cut back to avoid FFP penalties so But in the end it is down to the Manager's call. One way or another we must stop the perpetual 'must stay up at whatever cost to style of play or our finances'.

I think Jacob Greaves from Hull, Left footed Centre back, 23, 6 foot 4, an attacking LWB Niel Nkounkou from Frankfurt is very good, maybe Oli can use his influence, and as previously mentioned Smith-Rowe from the Arse and Borja Mayoral from Getafe, but we may have missed the boat with him.

I hope you're right on that, would save a lot of hassle. Personally I'd keep Ferguson. If he does come good, he'd be a good utility CB/RWb?

TBH, any decisions will depend a lot on what happens on outgoings I'm sure Glasner will be pushing for additions but can see some push back with Hughes, Schlupp and Ward remaining on the books. The argument will be that Wharton, Munoz and Richards have played less than half a season and Franca should be up to speed and, effectively, a new signing. I cannot see any of the loanees coming back and contributing unless Goodman can be a reserve goalkeeper. Imray and Ozoh might contribute as squad members If they have a serious chance of keeping our best players and we are not in danger of PSR, I would look to try and make some money on Mitchell, Edouard and Henderson or Johnstone and get some upgrades where we need them. Then we could really push for a European spot, injuries permitting Edited by pssguy (10 Apr 2024 9.36pm)

I'm more optimistic about keeping them now then I would have been previously. Would love to get Edouard off the books, but that going to be difficult. He earns c.£85/90k a week. Aint no way anyone is going to match that. Same with Henderson. The Edouard wage baffles me, and I hope we've learnt from it. he was on 19k at Celtic. Madness to offer him as much as we did.

Clyne, Edouad, Ferguson, Hughes, Tomkins, Schlupp and Jario for me to go, take some big money off the wages. I also think we will loose 1 or 2 for big money to fund the re-build

I won't be surprised to see the following given 1 year extensions: Edouard, of course, will only go if: As much as I would like to see both Schlupp, HUghes and Ward upgraded, I doubt we'll be able to do that this year.

Our squad has been thin enough this season with the injuries we've had and I doubt very much we will have the money (even with the sale of 2 star players) to replace 9 going. Agree, we don't have the money to replace everyone, so very little point replacing squad players for squad players. Would rather we focus on 1 or 2 1st team players, which in turn will make the squad better. Unfortunately I think its going to be close to impossible to get rid of Edouard. Suspect he'll see his contract out and go for free next summer.

Edouard won’t be leaving, one of Doucoure, Eze, Guehi and Olise will be sold to stay within FFP, as they will generate the most money to sign new players.
