Assuming for now that we stay up, and nobody gets poached, what business do we do? For me: Clyne, Ferguson, Tomkins, Jairo go. I’d give Hughes and Ward another year, maybe Jeff depending on business elsewhere. No1 priority is a LWB. Not sure who, but in the Munoz mould. Young CB, Ronnie Edward perhaps. Young forward, Morgan Whittaker maybe Jaden Philogene More experienced forward player, maybe Kamada, would be free and has played for Glasner before

Clyne, Ferguson, Tomkins, Jairo go. I’d give Hughes and Ward another year, maybe Jeff depending on business elsewhere.

No1 priority is a LWB. Not sure who, but in the Munoz mould.

Young CB, Ronnie Edward perhaps.

Young forward, Morgan Whittaker maybe Jaden Philogene

More experienced forward player, maybe Kamada, would be free and has played for Glasner before

Priority to get rid of the high earning 'deadwood' and a few others like Edouard if we can make a profit. Is rumoured we are needing to cut back to avoid FFP penalties so if any of the top stars are sold we must find young and promising replacements from lower leagues or abroad. But in the end it is down to the Manager's call. One way or another we must stop the perpetual 'must stay up at whatever cost to style of play or our finances'. Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

Priority to get rid of the high earning 'deadwood' and a few others like Edouard if we can make a profit.

Is rumoured we are needing to cut back to avoid FFP penalties so
if any of the top stars are sold we must find young and promising replacements from lower leagues or abroad.

But in the end it is down to the Manager's call.

One way or another we must stop the perpetual 'must stay up at whatever cost to style of play or our finances'.

I think you'll find those rumours are misplaced. They saw a figure over £105m and failed to take account of allowable deductions such as the Academy etc.

I think you'll find those rumours are misplaced. They saw a figure over £105m and failed to take account of allowable deductions such as the Academy etc.

I'm sure Glasner will be pushing for additions but can see some push back with Hughes, Schlupp and Ward remaining on the books. The argument will be that Wharton, Munoz and Richards have played less than half a season and Franca should be up to speed and, effectively, a new signing. I'm more optimistic about keeping them now then I would have been previously. Would love to get Edouard off the books, but that going to be difficult. He earns c.£85/90k a week. IT is very optimistic, but our best have all been injury ravaged, and by all accounts its been a poor season. I'm more optimistic about keeping them now then I would have been previously.

Would love to get Edouard off the books, but that going to be difficult. He earns c.£85/90k a week. Aint no way anyone is going to match that. Same with Henderson.

The Edouard wage baffles me, and I hope we've learnt from it. he was on 19k at Celtic. Madness to offer him as much as we did.

You are suggesting we get rid of/lose 8 or 9 players. I simply don't see that happening. Our squad has been thin enough this season with the injuries we've had and I doubt very much we will have the money (even with the sale of 2 star players) to replace 9 going.

I won't be surprised to see the following given 1 year extensions:
- Schlupp
- Hughes
- Ward
and if he doesn't break down again before the end of June - Ferguson (His current wages are in PL terms peanuts).

Edouard, of course, will only go if:
a) another club is prepared to offer a fee that tempts us to sell and
b) we can obtain a suitable replacement

As much as I would like to see both Schlupp, HUghes and Ward upgraded, I doubt we'll be able to do that this year.

Edouard won’t be leaving, one of Doucoure, Eze, Guehi and Olise will be sold to stay within FFP, as they will generate the most money to sign new players.
