If the worst happens and we lose some of our Jewells who do recplace the with:

Guehi/Andersen, think only one will go, Jacob Greaves (Hull)

Doucore, dont think he will be sold, If he does, James McAtee (sheff utd/Man City)

Olise, for me, Certain to leave, Morgan Whittaker (plymouth)

Eze, impossible.

Diakite from Stade Reims, Ivory Coast Intl with 10 caps & only 20yo, played for RB Saltzburg & is a striker, poss to replace Edouard.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I think the bigger picture is who is going to be let go and who is going to be sold, We have some big earners who bring nothing to the table, I truly believe its time to take a hard look at our squad

Its a big Job but we keep putting it off

Greaves looks a good prospect. We've reportedly been sniffing around the kid Edwards from Peterborough for a couple of years now so I do expect we end up signing him at some point. Lloyd Kelly is out of contract at Bournemouth this summer I believe - another who seems to fit our transfer model well.

McAtee is a winger/attacking midfielder so definitely not a replacement for Doucoure - I think we've already signed the replacement in Wharton. If we wanted to add cover in midfield I would offer a deal to Ross Barkley.

Whittaker is a good shout and fits our model well. I think Ogbene from Luton is a great option for a right winger who could also cover for Munoz in our new system. I actually think McAtee is a decent shout as an Olise replacement.

Players of Eze's profile are a dying breed as they are so hard to accommodate in modern systems - I don't think we'd go like for like in terms of replacement even if he did leave.

Goods shouts, i think Eze may be at Palace a long time, a bit like Le Tissier, Bowles, Currie etc, i hope so.

If Eze were to leave, we all hope not, but there will be alot interest then there one player I would like to see come in and that is Emile Smith-Rowe from Arsenal.

I am so surprised he is not playing for Arsenal more.

Jacob Greaves started out as a centre-half and in actual fact used to look up to and watch Aymeric Laporte for guidance. In recent months Hull have deployed him at left-back.
I recall seeing his father,Mark Greaves, playing back in the day.

Apropos Ogbene, last year he was recorded as one of the quickest players in the PL.

I have been in conversation about a young player whom I have seen on more than one occasion and has impressed me.He is the left-footed Jack Rudoni, currently at Huddersfield, who was signed from AFC Wimbledon by then manager Danny Schofield. He arrived at Huddersfield as a goal-scoring midfielder.
He is an attacking midfielder who can play in a variety of positions and his work rate is commendable. He was actually at our club as a youngster.
