Now this might be total cobblers, so don't take this as read, but I've read on social media today that next years season tickets are increasing by 30%.

Anyone heard anything ?

If it's the case, that's me out, just through principle.

If true, I’m due over £100 off whatever it goes up to for games I’ve missed this season and claimed back, so that would bring mine down a bit

As we arent even in March yet I would imagine that this is more likely to be sensationalist clickbait guesswork -

Assuming that the new main stand does get built then for sure I can see increases in that area & in corporate hospitality (didnt Fulham do something similar)

The club have stated that the new main stand improvements will increase the ground capacity by something like 8000 (from 25,000 ish - 33,000 ish) they will want to be sure that those 8000 extra seats have bums on them come the first home game after construction is completed - outlandish pricing wont achieve that.

Other parts of the ground will probably have their usual increases.

Palace have not announced anything yet, despite being asked by various groups who meet with them.
Other larger London clubs have already announced rises of 5-6% and Brighton have announced rises between 5-8%. I believe your social media research of a 30% rise is as you say 'total cobblers'.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Absolute disgrace!!!

So is the fact that at lot of clubs disabled people don’t get a discount ( although if have carer that extra person is allowed in for free).

I’d be gutted if that was Palace, because I’m looking forward to my first season of OAP prices, which is not that far off now

I would also be disappointed if the club did that as I am looking forward to that as well!

I believe this only applies to new Seniors, and that existing ones will still get their discount - but will also be affected by the across-the-board 6% increase.

Does anyone know a friendly journalist who would make a story contrasting 6% oncreases at wealthy Spurs with unchanges at humble Palace?
