I thought Tompkins was a stuffed dummy, loving all the kids on the bench, no fear & raring to go . . . COYP

Is it to early to criticise his selection yet

Looks like the Fanatics banner has been taken down in favour of led advertising. Shame it's today after OG says he's looking forward to the raw Selhurst atmosphere. It's all being sanitised.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

LOL

I would have liked to see some changes not impressed with the line up when we do have other options and up again a team which concedes a lot of goals.

Probably best not to make too many drastic changes in his first match. Plus also, pretty much everyone we have is out injured. Our bench is so weak. Franca really the only impact player he could bring on. The rest are just deep cover.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

Sensible picking the same team he saw at Everton but interesting to see if he’s encouraged them to get forward more. Not expecting miracles today but a win would be nice and maybe a bit more entertaining

In seriousness - with injuries not that surprised gone with the same lineup - shows Ollie had input into the lineup against Everton.

Imagine this line up with Guehi in place of Ward, Olise for Ayew and Eze for Edouard - looks decent then..!!

But Rome wasn’t built in a day..!!

Interesting selections on the bench though - may give some insight into Ollies thinking going forward - notice no Reidewald..!!

Come on Ollie and COYP
