Right now, he's the love child of Klopp and Giardiola in most people's minds. We will obviously rip Burnley to pieces with an all new super press...

..or...

Saturday will be incredibly tough trying to strike a balance between a new way of playing and mentality, and having no time to train and no real way of knowing if we really have the personnel.

Personally, I think we can win but I strongly expect both the next game and the rest of the season to be similar to what has come so far. And a win would be amazing.

Next season is when things should get interesting but will depend on some wheeling and dealing and some investment that may not come.

What are your thoughts and realistic expectations?

Yes we will survive but without the odd defeat.Next season i see either Eze or Olaise being sold and Either Anderson or Guia. To fund OG new system .And one or two German players maybe brought in ?

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Get us creating more chances, tighten up at the back, maybe score from a corner at least once, stay up without too much stress. Next season would be to steer clear of the relegation battle and continue to progress the style of play

I think all that is pretty reasonable

I’ll settle for it becoming more about the team and less about the manager. It felt like it had turned into a bit of a soap opera around Roy this season.

As long as this isn't an FdB mkII whereby he is a one trick pony who cannot work with what he has.

We're not (and aren't able to) going suddenly switch to a gegenpress team overnight and I hope he sees that.

Hopefully what I've read and heard about him being very good at adapting tactics and formations to the situation and the available players is true. If Eze and Olise are fit you'd have to be a pretty poor manager not to drag us over the line, but when they're not is the test; can he get us creating chances and scoring without them?

Realistically if we could pick up four more wins and a few draws this season I think that would be a solid end and he'll be in a good position to know what we need in the summer. I'm not expecting miracles, just to stay in the league. One thing I do like that I've heard is that he's not afraid to go direct and his teams are good on the counter. This has always been the Palace way.

My realistic expectation boils down to one thing - keeping Palace in the Premier League.

All the bells and whistles can come later, that has to be the priority.

It's very easy to get carried away.

The one thing I am hoping for is a bit more energy and intent to our play.

Under Hodgson we looked as though we were just inviting pressure to defend against and pretty clueless going forward, just waiting on a miracle for the creation of a goal scoring opportunity, let alone a goal. I couldn't even describe the game plan on most occasions beyond 'try to keep it tight' which we often did not!

That was where the joy had been sapped for me, Palace not even looking as though they were competing. Hopefully under Glasner we do, the crowd unify behind the team once more and start roaring us on to PL safety. That's all my hopes for the time being.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
