JRS injured isn't he? Don't think I'd be risking Franca in a game like this. Everton under Dyche are mongrels...they'll kick him all the way back to Brazil. For me: Johnstone Munoz - Andersen - Richards - Mitchell Ozoh Lerma - Wharton Ayew - Mateta - Eduoard

I thought there was a lot more fight and spirit in the Chelsea performance so I'd only change anyone who is injured, which seems to be the case with Hughes. Personally I'd go with Ozoh. He doesn't seem fazed by the step up and has a physicality about him. Rumours were doing the rounds last week that Eze might be back, but there's no way I'd risk him against Everton even from the bench.

Ozoh may be a big lad for a youngster but unfortunately he is not good enough at the moment to be playing at this level.

The lineup against Chelsea did ok for the most part. With Hughes injured I'd give Ahamada a go as I think his energy will be vital against a battling Everton side. I pray for a point and then after this game I'll be praying that our new manager is the messiah. As for the rumours about Eze being on the bench, after the Olise debacle I wouldn't risk him at all especially with the fixtures coming up where we'll need him fully fit.

Surely,a safe pair of hands is necessary to enhance our chances of at least a clean sheet.

I suppose it all depends on whether Roy has any input from his hospital/home bed, if he does, it'll be same old same old, if not, we could be (pleasantly) surprised.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
