O'Brien - clearly worth more

Poor sale by us - is getting noticed internationally. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the Premier league with a hefty fee soon enough.

He went to Lyon, Textors other main European club. This was no ordinary transfer and there would be no surprises if Palace ‘bought’ him back at some point.

I saw O’Brien play in our pre-season friendly at Crawley but his performance was difficult to judge as we didn’t have much defending to do. He is big and looked strong but missed an easy headed chance from a corner. I was surprised to see him leave because he definitely looked on the verge of the first team squad for this season. It was also an unusually ‘reasonable’ fee and as I have posted above, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him return for a similarly reduced fee at some point. The Textor/Club connection is too much of a coincidence.

Don't be surprised if he goes for a nice little fee to a PL club, thanks Textor glad to see you looking after Palace.

I am sure there is more to that transfer than we know, we may have a buy back option at a certain price, doubt if Textor has told even told Parish the deal.
