It's only click-bait, BUT, seems Edouard is up for sale & he is guest speaker at Celtics end of season awards . . . [Link]

I am ready to stand corrected here but I think Clyne was on quite a high wage when he first arrived because he came in on a free (no transfer fee) but I thought his contract was renegotiated couple years back to put it on a more appropriate level.

[Link] This was where I got my info from it has him on 80k p.w. It is all speculation but we can't afford 80k for a bench player

Hughes turning into prime Roy Keane and Schlupp scoring C.Ronaldo-esque goals have probably helped. I'm guessing Ward is still being kept on sentiment (probably a bit harsh, OG may see him as useful for his set up).

I'd be very shocked if Tomkins were renewed but equally if Clyne is not, he's been fantastic in the new formation too. Riedewald a bit of an odd one, I'd speculate that Glasner will find a use for him but not miss him nor make a case against it if he goes.

Love that comparison mate, all Huuuuughes has got to do now is stamp on Gareth Southgate to make your comparison complete

Taking those figures at face value football wages are crazier than ever. Ayew & Ferguson on the same money? Ward on £20,000 a week less than Riedewald?

You got this info off of wearepalace, the same template click-bait site that said Glasner should combine the DoF role with being Manager, i prefer the earlier link.

So Wharton and Glasner off to Bayern 60+?

Olise to everyone 60

Eze to Tottenham maybe others 60

Ghehi to Man U arsenal or Tottenham 50

Anderson to Newcastle 50

Equals 280+ to spend

I can't believe we've started this s***e already!
Typical us pessimistic bunch that we are.
Enjoy the football & all of our players are playing the best football of their lives!
They have a point to prove & so does the manager
He sounds like he expects to achieve something big & he can do that unhindered by too much expectation at Palace.
He's here for the next season & only off after he's given it a whole year under his methods

We have all those players under contract until at least 2026 with Olise the only one with a rumoured release clause.

So no need to sell any of them this summer. Maybe one to cover the suggested FFP rules .

I would think if Olise indicates he will stay regardless of bids it will be Guehi that moves on as the we seem surpringly well covered at the back under Glasners system

Seeing the coach that Glasner is I would have thought he would not have taken the job without a plan B, C or even D in losing two or three of the big players. He will have targets identified and it wouldn't surprise me if this included another couple from the Championship. Problem is that clubs will push up prices if they see we have money to spend and big holes to fill in the team.

Losing Dougie would be a blow but again with Glasner's contacts would there be someone who they'd likely target? I asumme here they would be considering this!

It was reported that when Glasner was interviewed for the Palace job the board were impressed by Glasner's plan of how to play games without Eze and Olise.
He had done his research and background homework on Palace and the squad.
I think this was less to do with the players being sold, but more to do with their ongoing injuries at the time meaning they were unavailable.

Glasner seems like a pragmatist and very meticulous in approach.
In short, he will work with what be has avaliable.
If the better players depart I do believe we will get good players in to make us effective, although possibly not as eye catching as with Eze and Olise.
The idea of players with genuine pace and power, for example, either side of Mateta would be problematic for opposition.
