We are in a dangerous slump. Only two other teams now have a worse goal difference or scored fewer goals. 14 goals conceded in last 4 games In short we lack quality and relying on effort or something unexpected (like Lerma's goal) for a result. Until Eze/Guehi/Olise return we will struggle and the hit to our morale is proving immense. If we manage a point we must be thankful. If not then we rely on possible points deductions for Everton/Forest. Even then it is possible Everton's 10 points might be reduced. Looks grim.

Another team we can't seem to win against (unless Lampard is in charge). Sadly, despite last night's few glimmers of hope, I don't see us scoring next Monday, nor do I see us stopping Everton scoring from one of their dead ball situations/crosses. I can see a 1-0 here for Everton.

With Hughes now injured as well, guess this could be the team :- Henderson Munoz Lerma Ayew Mateta This is obviously open to (lively) debate, personally, i wouldn't risk Franca for this game, he'd get chewed by them thugs. Thoughts?

The thing that really winds me up about Everton is that if they get a free kick, they put the big men in and launch it into the box. We get a free kick and pass back to the keeper. Why the f*** we do this is anyone's guess. It's quite literally driving me mad.

I’d love to beat that lot. We never seem to. They always out-muscle us. Can’t see that changing without a full strength side.
