Was thinking of going to this game at the moment it's only 30 euro return flights for the day from Dublin. Looks easy enough to get to from east midlands airport. I was wandering obviously not from a footballing view as we are all fed up with palace at the moment. But is Nottingham a good town to spend a day in? I looked it up and all I seen was a castle and a few English pubs. Also I would assume it's handy enough to get tickets for the game? I'm usually in the second or third round points wise for ticket releases.

Yes, Nottingham is one of our nicer cities and worth spending some time in. Difficult to make recommendations as I’m not sure what your tastes are. The trains are good from East Midlands Parkway but are very busy on match days. The City Ground is walkable from Nottingham train station. I think there are buses from the airport into Nottingham as well.

If anyone isn't going and is able to lend a hand getting 1-2 tickets, that would be lovely. I live down that end of the world, so anyone needing advice on what to do in Notts, I'll happily give recommendations. It's a pretty low-key city in terms of attractions, but otherwise a very decent one to spend time in.
