This w/e there are 3 televised matches . . . Fri:- U21's v Brighton 12.00 ko With all 3 sides winning of late & U18's Zach Marsh scoring 19 goals so far this season incl 5 hattricks, Women going well in the 'Championship' & the U21's just off a 3-0 drubbing of B'ham in the cup, it should provide a lot more excitement than our 'esteemed' 1st Team have.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Never mind this weekend coming up. Palace TV has already provided far more excitement than the 1st team have this season.

HT 0-1 Raymond & Imray(again) standouts for me, playing 3 at the back & 2 wing-backs, not getting out of our own half atm. Still, lets hope for a better 2nd half Edited by eagleman13 (26 Jan 2024 12.53pm)

2-1 FT Great leap from Omeh for the winning goal. Imray impressive again especially when driving forward. Awful referee ! Didn't see any outstanding individuals in the Brighton team.

FT 2-1 Bit niggly at the end & a few yellows, mostly for our lads & hardly any for Brighton. Couldn't understand why we had a striker(Umeh) playing what looked like Left Wing-Back. Roy, Paddy & Dean turned up to watch in 2nd half, which was nice. Danny Imray was head & shoulders above anyone today, which is saying something, as he's quite small. Got great feet n balance, makes runs & takes oppo on. Overall, not a bad match, better in the 2nd half, when we changed our shape. Always nice to beat them down the road.

A surprise win after the first half when Brighton were in control. Excellent Imray strike and an Umeh first header I can recall from him and from a corner (RH was watching). We looked quite solid and saw it out quite well. Marsh is obviously no 'Mola' now out on loan, but good experience for him. 3 valuable points and against the weed I am apoplectic.
