I’ve watched the first half of today’s Leeds game and Archie Gray looks like just the type of player we should be looking to buy. Can play right back or in midfield. He’s young, solid defender, gets forward and had made a few decent crosses. No idea how much he would cost but looks a good prospect.

I would guess that his family connections to Leeds are too strong for him to consider moving to a struggling Premier League club at the moment

I've been watching him tonight and if we had a big offer for Doucoure that was too good not to take, then I think we should put in a bid for him. The long term connections of the family with Leeds could make it difficult but if they miss out on promotion then Leeds/Grey might be tempted. Definitely one for the future,

I seem to remember large sums being mentioned. I heard maybe 35+ mil. For some reason I get the feeling that Arsenal were interested, Newcastle and I think West Ham. I think it wouldn't be an Eze, Olise or Wharton type signing. More expensive as people have cottoned on to the value (well perhaps more like the money they can get for) of these type of players. Young, English, already good and pretty versatile too.
