Has anyone else heard the rumour that if Roy does not get 3 points at home to the worst team in the division next week, then we will be the worst team currently in the division with 2 wins in 17 games (after Arsenal and Sheff U) at which point he gets the bullet. Not sure about whether I was going to go to the game or not, but if it is either a 3 point win, or Hodgson leaving then, I am happy to attend simply to ensure that he is properly escorted off the premises. I could not bear another post-match press conference at which I am informed that Sheffield United are a tough opponent, a very well organised team, and that scoring a goal in the Premier League is a difficult thing to do. Made much easier of course, if you are playing a team which sits back making no attempt to score, with young players who are not up to the job, and fans who simply expect too much.

Getting boring now. We all know hodgson has to to go and we need a re shuffle in ownership to have higher ambitions. We will never have a perfect squad nor will we ever have a perfect 11 players. The decent 3 players we do have and the promising 3 young ones are good enough to carry along the other championship players that we have to be available for a more ambitious manager and owners to achieve a top half finish. I'm cheerful, N'ton Saints are top of the Prem, top of pool 3 in Champions Cup & 7 players called up for England Six Nations squad, what's not to like?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

"Well first things first, I must say that Sheffield United are a tough side and a well organised team, no doubt due in part to the return of Chris Wilder. Funny enough I saw Alan Pardew in the corridor just now, what can it all mean I wonder?"

Reasons to be cheerful………..Strangely enough I’m quite looking forward to the Sheffield game whatever happens at Arsenal. Despite being a season ticket holder I’ve missed a few games recently for various reasons, family do’s, work, laziness etc and this is obviously a winnable game, even for us. I think that’s the beauty of football, despite how grim things are, if I’m walking up Whitehorse lane after the game with a win under our belts from a scrappy game I’ll be happy enough. Plus another reason to be cheerful is relegation doesn’t bother me, so I can’t lose
