We all need to be taking a long hard look at VAR.

It is destroying the game..... and also making many of us late for other appointments.

And there was a few chaps on here who thought it WAS a red, it’s a funny old game how we can see things so different at times. It proves not all high feet or studs up are dangerous and need to be a red card

Now they have rescinded the red card, I think it was actually a red!

VAR. Turning correct decisions into clear and obvious errors. Couldn’t write it.

The sooner it goes, the better.

Football is 20% worse because of it.

I actually thought it was the most blatant red card I have seen all season.

It was high
It was dangerous
Studs were showing
Caught clyne

Typical scousers moan about it and it gets rescinded. If it was the other way no one bats an eye lid.

Typical. Now the red card has been rescinded, Keith Hackett comes out agreeing it was the wrong decision.
All these ex referees being paid to comment are a waste of space. They always agree with their paymaster or their historic paymaster. They sit on Sky like rabbits caught in headlights denying the obvious which is is frustrating to watch.
Get shot of the lot of them and bring in people like ex players who may just help improve things for football. Modern technology can help the game, it just needs to be designed and used to much better effect than VAR.

I thought it was a red and still do. Ive seen absolutely loads of lesser challenges get reds and nobody has said a word afterwards. Maybe its because he's a poster boy for the weird and wonderful and ticks too many boxes to be punished. Wouldn't surprise me.

So the first ref thought it wasn’t but the second thought it might be so the first had another look and thought it was, then a third ref had a look and thought it wasn’t and the first two refs were wrong. The refs decision is final-ish, long live VAR 🤣
