According to talksport via the BBC gossip page. I know nothing about this chap aside from he is England under 20 captain and plays as CB for the Posh. Assuming, Tompkins will leave at some point and our 2 first choice may be top 6 targets this sort of rumour seems to have legs.
Happy happy JOY, JOY! |

Id be very happy with this. Given his age, it would make sense to cash out on Anderson this summer. And makes sense to start the succession planning. Richards is showing that he can perform at a decent level, so I'd be happy for him to step in to partner Guehi. Guehi, Richards, Edwards, Holding - feels like a balanced back 4.

Prior to signing for us, Holding attracted criticism like a rotten peach attracts wasps. I certainly was not enamoured with his performances when I saw him ploughing his furrow for Arsenal.

I read today that Peterborough are trying to get 10m for him. Players from League 1 would not go for that sort of money, infact not a massive amount of players in Championship that would attract that sort of fee either. The statement we have submitted multiple bids, which have all been rejected doesn't seem to bode well (if true). We must have been trying to get him on the cheap, and may well have pi**ed off Peterborough by now. You can see another PL club will come in and offer Peterborough an attractive fee and get him, while we have once again screwed around.

Brentford signed Ivan Toney from League One Peterborough for a fee of £5 Mill rising to £10 Mill.

Prior to signing for us, Holding attracted criticism like a rotten peach attracts wasps. I certainly was not enamoured with his performances when I saw him ploughing his furrow for Arsenal. I was under the impression Holding would be our new James Tomkins. Tomkins has been kept around purely as a last resort if all else fails. JT's position is predominantly due to his age whereas I feel Holding's is due to his ability or lack of it.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
