Jordan Ayew AFCON and goalkeeper dilemma?

It seems that Palace have a new dilemma coming up.

1) Ayew is going to AFCON and he has really been an unsung hero this season. His work rate is fantastic and he gets the odd goal or assist when he can. 2 assists and 1 goal in his last 3 games. When Eze and Olise play together Palace look a different team. But without Ayew Palace will also miss an important player. Schlupp is not going to AFCON he was left out of a 55 man provisional squad which probably means the manager does not rate him or there is something else going on in the side. So it does seem Schlupp will play LW in Ayew's absence. Who else can play LW except Schlupp? There is Franca but he is not really a LW is he?

2) Henderson had a decent game yesterday. What happens when Johnstone returns? I think both are good keepers but I prefer Johnstone. But Henderson is younger and Palace did buy him for a lot of money an reportedly good wages. I think they will sell Johnstone to Wolves potentially if rumours are true about Saudi clubs wanting Jose Sa. I can see either Johnstone or Ramsdale going to Wolves on loan as both will be desperate to get into Southgate's Euro squad in the summer.

Have to be honest I think Henderson is the better keeper and has age and ability to get better.

It is refreshing however to have two good goalkeepers in the squad. And should one step in after an inevitable injury to the other I won't be too worried

Looking at the list I think other teams have more to fear especially Forest and Brentford.

Hopefully Ghana won't get further than the qualifying round, so 3 games.......maybe 4.
So with any luck he will be back sooner than later.

Add in Olise's injury and our wide players become just Schlupp, maybe Eze at a push. So I'm guessing Edouard will play wide with Roy's selections. The obvious point is we have needed a wide player since Zaha left and we haven't addressed it. I guess we spent years needing a left back and luckily got one for free from Brentford, and we've needed a right back for several seasons, so I won't hold my breath.
