It's the line up we expected. It's the line up the team expected. It's the line up Brentford expected. Will it work? Surely he has to go if it doesn't. Expect Schlupp on for Ayew around the 65th minute. Hughes should also come on if we're winning. Edouard and Franca in the 80th minute if we're losing.

The excitement of seeing the team sheet at two o'clock left me a long time ago . The need for two defensive midfielders one of which is a centre back is ultra negative . Just have to hope Eze and Olise are on it today .

Let's hope Eze has a point to prove. Roys as stubborn as it gets to using anybody else. God help us if he's still here and we buy in players. It'll be pointless as he seems to use very few of them no matter if they do well and make an impact. Ahameda must be so regretting his move to Palace. Franca also twiddling his thumbs to get 5 mins of football.

Got to be utterly demoralising for half the players. No matter how much you do or indeed how tired other favourites are you know you are never going to get a game. I don’t think any side has to worry about homework on us. Mind you as the last surprise Roy sprung it was Harry Kane on corners. Thank God in the absence of any kind of attacking threat in open play; we are so good on set pieces.

I’m a little surprised Richards has been given the nod in the middle over Hughes who is a little terrier and never let us down. Good luck to Richards though. Come on Palace!!
