So it appears the kid has something. The fans who travelled might be able to sum it up as they saw him in the flesh ?!

He plays with his head up which is a good sign, analysing options for his next move.
He played a very good inch perfect crossfield pass to Olise from left to right, hit a dangerous cross from the right and then another from the left which could have led to a winner.
He did indeed look quick as he evaded Walker, but this was as much attributable to his clever movement.
Promising, and I hope he's not jettisoned when others return from injury.

Let’s me honest… very few players outpace Walker.. he did it with ease.. love to see him torment Brighton…

As i have said in the past he destined for the CF role eventually, he is very good in the air also, and timing of his runs into the box, i now it is very early days, but he has got, i think a bit of Ronaldo in his style.

Totally agree and deserves an opportunity against Brighton.
One problem, our dinosaur in chief does not trust youth and tends to rely on the old sweats who have long passed their sell, by dates.

He can take confidence from his contribution yesterday.

He was positive in what he did and showed a good awareness of what was going on around him.

I think it helped that he was introduced at a time in the game whereby he would have little or no defensive responsibilities as we pushed for the equalizer.

If he keeps progressing he will get his starting opportunity I'm sure.

He didnt outpace Walker, he got passed him. Which he did with a nice piece of skill.
He is far from the finished article.

I think he came on in the last few minutes of the home game against Spurs and on that occasion looked like he was on a sugar rush. His play was all over the place. I suspect he was just over eager to impress and tried too hard in front of the home fans.

Yesterday though he looked well in control of things and showed signs of being the wunderkid we all hoped we had signed. Let's hope that was the start of a stellar Palace career!!

Exact same when olise signed for us. He couldn't get a game and he had to bide his time and be integrated into the team.

Which one? I'd be be more than happy if he showed a bit of Romario, what a special player he was.
