I think we could do with a couple more defenders on the pitch!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Man City Vs Crystal Palace - Match Thread' by becky I am at this game the last time I attended against City we came away with a good result hopefully this will happen today. I was surprised how easy it was to get a ticket. (I am sitting with City fans ) Team wise no surprises typical Roy. Risking people who have only just come back from injuries

What on earth ? Never have I seen a team so setup to literally defend only. Once City go 1-0 up that's it. Plan A out of window with no plan B. You got feel sorry for Ahamada, a natural midfielder with defenders being picked ahead of him in midfield. The same for Ozoh. You don't expect get anything out of a game with City, but this is unreal.

5 4 1 and defend for our lives, tho there's not really much else we can do.

Really don't see why we couldn't have played some fringe players in their natural positions. Don't expect anything from this game so what would be the harm?

I salute any Palace fan that's travelled up for the game.
We move in the direction of our thoughts. |
