i was going to say 'christian-names' but that terms seems to have been trampled by the PC brigade. Along with 'Happy christmas'

anyhoo.....

Clement .....as in Atlee. Imagine being named after nice weather. And i expect the Turkish soldiers at Gallipoli found his rifle rather inclement ? Imagine if he had a fruity twin sister ?

and

Heironymous.....as in Bosch. Not too many of them standing in front of you at the queue in Barclays Croydon. "and how do you spell that sir"

Engelbert, as in Humperdinck.

the US secretary of State, who prosecuted the Vietnam War : Robert STRANGE McNamara

Please take this opportunity to be as racist as you like, i dont give a shyte. And to get that ball rolling......

Sorcha......an irish girls name. Fairly innocent , you might say. Except that in Italian it means something halfway between a Witch and a Hooeer. Or it may refer to a part of the female anatomy that is best unmentioned.
