PL teams Not Suspending Players - Abuse

Of course what the BBC doesn't say is that the vast majority of these claims never even amount to a charge let alone a conviction.

So should a player be denied the opportunity to work before they are charged? I don't think so. If they are charged I do think that at that stage the PL and FA should insist they are suspended for the duration.

Fans like to set off fire alarms to upset the away team. If a player was automatically suspended once an allegation has been made what is to stop someone inventing it to gain an advantage.

I think the Mendy saga at City will influence clubs. Looked banged to rights but not guilty of the criminal charges brought against him. So suspending a player could be costly.
I appreciate that a club may have evidence of behaviour not strictly criminal but possibly in breach of contractual codes, so it's messy.
Love to know who the manager is?

Could be made up, could be true. I'm not really sure why the BBC is reporting speculation.
