When I look at the ongoing disaster in Liverpool I feel thankful of our position. Yes, I'd like to be a higher in the league and with some key positions filled/backed up but jeez - what a mess the Toffees are in.

Personally I think their fanbase is self-entitled with a big club attitude - its a key reason they're in this situation.

Hopefully a few more teams will be hit with points deductions and the over inflated valuations of players will see a correction, which will be good for us bargain hunters.

Points deduction? Man City and Chelsea will be lucky if they're not relegated!

Everton only had one charge against them, Man City have one hundred and fifteen!!

If we all pray at 22.03 tonight to the god of football, that all three are relegated it COULD happen, dont forget 3 minutes past 10

My guess is we are just round the corner from a super league which will include Saudi.
It will be called SMB.

I think that’s right. If Man City get hit with anything that affects their ability to win things they’ll be off to the Saudis. Expect Madrid & co to follow

There is very little likelihood of an Emirates owned club joining a Saudia led football project. The Saudis and the Emirates are not exacty sworn enemies, but their relationship is pretty frosty.

Football is now so money driven expect Saudi to have it soon enough.
Australia just threw in towel on 2032 World Cup. So they got that.

If an opportunity appeared to have the possibility to bring Super League (or equivalent of CL) to the Middle East I am sure that whatever disagreements exist between KSA & the UAE & indeed Qatar(PSG) they would be put aside to take advantage of what would be something akin to an almost once in a lifetime opportunity.

Its an interesting conundrum for the EPL. Go after the big boys, and they will just take their ball and play elsewhere.

A quick look at the incoming ownership, 777 Partners, wouldn't fill me with confidence if I was an Everton fan.

And if the rumoured law suit involving Leeds, Leicester and Burnley grows legs, the situation looks grim.
