The fans who paid to watch this, should be compensated. Dire, negative, clueless rubbish. WTF was Southgate trying to do?

It must irk him that Johnstone can't backpass as much as all the others. How many times did you see Grealish make as he's going to beat a defender then to turn and hit it back?

Horrible.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

I watched about 15 minutes during which Grealish fell over, Maddison had a shot which sliced off for a throw in and Gallagher made a tackle that was about a day late.

Yep Teddy, I must have watched the same 15 minutes. Dire. We then decided to flick on Robin Hood to see the famous tree on Hadrian's Wall. The tree was more exciting than the football.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I saw the last 15 minutes, it seemed to me that Australia wanted it more, every 50/50 they out-muscled the England players. In one move I counted 4 times where the Aussies either robbed or held onto the ball.

Would that be the 'Sycamore Gap' where the tree got cut down a few weeks ago?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

That's the one eagleman. Very distinctive in the film, just up the road from Sherwood Forest.

Why? People know how it goes for international friendlies, we could say more fool them for going. But I bet the kids in the crowd who might not usually get the chance to go or might have been at Wembley for the first time will still have loved it, seeing top players live and Jordan Henderson

My first England game at Wembley was against Wales in the old home international championship in 1979, it was an awful 0-0 draw with only 20,000 there, but I still came home buzzing and it was Kenny Sansom’s debut. Memories I’ve had all my life

I’m sure there was a more memorable event in 1979 involving a football team

Correct, it was a couple of weeks before, King Kenny was living the dream in the month of May that year

As a positive, I was very impressed with Johnstone's throw outs. I haven't seen him do that for us.

He is a country mile ahead of Pickford.

So I suppose that means he will be dropped for the Italy match next week.

On a negative......Southgate. Please dont let him come back to Palace.
