Firstly I apologize if this wasn't supposed to be in the Palace section, I wasn't sure where to put it (mods feel free to move it).

I'll be in Sydney next weekend. Would love to watch the match with any Sydney Eagles. I remember pre-pandemic the place to watch was the (appropriately named) Palace Hotel. Is that still the location?

Thanks in advance.

There seems to be several ways to contact the Sydney supporters....

Back in 2010 I watched the Hillsborough hero's famous 2-2 draw in Cheers Sports Bar on George Street. Was a big event organised by the Palace Sydney supporters club, was a great turn out of 50+ fans.

I happened to be on a world travelling tour at the time and found the details on this website.

Might be worth reaching out to blizzards_heat. He's a bloke I befriended that night, who according to his profile still lives in Sydney.

I remember on the final whistle kissing the bloke in front of me on the back of his head. He turned around and it happened to be an old school mate!

I spoke with the owner of the Palace Hotel and he said he doesn't stay open for the 3pm games. But Cheers on George Street shows all the premier league games and is open all night. Hopefully there will be a few other Palace supporters there.
