Looking very nasty from what is being reported so far. And suspect it will only get worse. Israel is going to hit back hard with much mayhem ensuring. And then some bright spark is going to suggest that the entire populace of the Gaza strip, on humanitarian grounds, are relocated to Europe. You heard it here first!

And we are seeing the end game playing out now. Because if some of the unverified footage coming out is even half true, the backlash from Israel is going to be horrendous. I care not a jot for either side but I am convinced that it is Europe being set up to pay the price. This is truly the moment a lot of chickens start coming home to roost.

Israel has considerable influence in the most powerful country in the world. Just listen to most of the brought and sold US politicians' statements. Apparently they are the US's greatest ally, despite for the life of me not seeing what they actually offer the US. There is certainly a political schism between the powerful progressive New York versions of them in power within the Biden administration and the right wing government in Israel but sanctions? Nope. Nor am I, but if it is true that Iran has helped Hamas with this attack, have they done so to de-rail the forthcoming Israeli/Saudi entente cordiale (the two countries who possibly hate Iran the most)?
