Does anybody else worry about Roy's health whilst he stands in the pouring rain all match? All credit to him and I'm sure it helps the team but maybe in bad weather Paddy or Ray should take his place on the line. I'd hate to see him cark it on the touchline.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

The myth that you can 'catch your death of cold' from standing in the rain has long dinc been debunked.

Thought it showed how much strength and repect there is running through the team and managment . There was a scene yesterday where Roy was cleaning his glasses with rain dripping off his face while behind him Ten fags was sitting in the dry disscussing his failed coaching system with the umbrella man

I know who players would rather play for ,and it showed

Problem not Roy’s style, but a baseball cap in the rain would keep the rain off his spec’s.

Exactly, you need to come into contact with a virus to catch a virus. Although he could catch a chill or it could lower his immune system which will affect his ability to withstand catching a virus if he comes into contact with one.

On the plus side, winning yesterday would’ve put him in a very happy, positive mood which would help raise his immune system!

He could carry off an Anthony Eden Homburg but I reckon a Trilby would be his titfer of choice.

I bet his wife worries, but bless him, he won’t be dragged away from the team by a bit of bad weather, so what’s a bit of pneumonia, he’s palace till he dies

I was thinking that. I bet the missus had a go, "Where's that jumper I knitted?".

Very true but now I have an image of him wearing one of those golf visor things like a saloon poker dealer.
