England Squad's Purported Salaries

We complain about how much some of our players earn. Compared to the rest of the England Squad, our 3 are relative paupers.
PS. The annual salary for Henderson is clearly overstated by a factor of 10.

But this is always going to be the problem when one's players 'get good'. Why should our boys not want the kind of riches their England squad colleagues receive? Consequently they will inevitably leave, because we can't possibly enrich them to anything like that level. Another piece of click-bait doing the rounds today is (basically) about Arsenal looking to sign Guéhi in January to replace one of their players that has picked up a long-term injury. As one window barely closes, another one opens it seems.
