Sky also reporting West Ham in talks. Smacks of agent spin. Out of our league I would suggest

There's the palindrome clause. Didn't help Ricky Otto much and since we already have Eze we'd probably get fined for breaching some new FA rule.

He signed a hefty, highly lucrative, permanent new contract with PSG just last month. Is this some clever trickery in the transfer market that I don't understand. Did they buy to turn for a profit? If so, they would be targeting much richer buyers than us, possibly by planting stories connecting us to raise the flag?

Apparently the source of this story is a reliable one in France (from what I read elsewhere). Talking to a West Ham friend last night Antonio still rumoured to possibly be leaving. Maybe if they get this guy we could get old big mouth. I still wish we'd got him a few years back when we were strongly rumoured. I'd still happily take him now.

Are you suggesting that West Ham gazumping of our targets is now so well known that if a team wants to sell a player to them, they just have to plant a story linking that player to us?

Now that would be very good news - and one that could quite easily be kept under wraps given Dougie’s longstanding relationship with Antonio from their time at Forest. I think the physicality Antonio brings and his ability to hold the ball up is exactly what we need and our system with the flair we have going forward will be a breath of fresh air to him.

So, unsurprisingly, PSG want a sale not a loan so can't see this one happening So will we now bite the bullet and offer Leicester the purported extra £3m they want for Iheanacho?
