First fixture today, lot of faces missing.

LB trialist getting stuffed just given away a penalty 0-1.

ManU press hard well on top.

Penalty save by Whitworth.

Game seems evenly matched.

2-1 Trialist B scores.

He looks pretty good, beating his defender a few times.

Brilliant finish. After Man U equalized in the 89th minute, we laid siege to their goal and Raymond scored the winner in the 8th minute of added time.

What a result - Palace 3-2 Raymond in the 8th minute of stoppage time.

Great stuff.

They are probably sh***d out.

Though the ref would never end the game.

As an international member (in Canada), I get to watch these games and I really enjoy them, including Brighty's commentary!

I saw the first game that Danny Imray played as a trialist 3 years(?) ago and thought he would make it. He got injured for a while but every time I watch him, he is solid, reliable and good going forward. Today he came on as a sub for the second half and made a big difference. Clearly he has got physically stronger this year; it is about time he got a cup run out with the first team and imho he is a clear successor to Ward. Maybe he needs a loan spell in League 1 or 2. The #14 trialist today made an impact, scored the second goal with an individual effort, came close a couple of times and was part of the third goal - sign him up!

JRS showed his class, but not so impressed with Richards, maybe lacking match fitness.

A highly competitive and enthralling match in which we bossed the second half. An impressive display of quality and assured play from the team who pushed hard for a goal even after playing 9 minutes extra time when 7 were shown - they were rewarded with the winning goal less than a minute before the final whistle.

Fine performances all round but standouts for me were JRS, Francis, Raymond and the trialist number 14 as slubglurge wrote. A good watch and, on a damp summer day, I'm already pleased I splashed out on the CPTV subscription.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
