No Transfers this window only Loans Sorry but we are skint and that's the reality.

We are not skint, we have saved an extra 450k a week since July 1st, we are not going to spend what we can afford, if G,A or D go then we will have more, simples

We absolutely need both. Need a further 3/4 permanent signings but then absolutely should maximise loan opportunities to supplement the squad. Young players like Trevor Chalobah, James McAtee, Cole Palmer would add talent and competition to the squad and are unlikely to feature much for Chelsea / City this season.

Don’t mind loans. If we finished the season with European qualification, because of loans, then fantastic!

I think we’ll sign two forwards. Central and left side.

I think we’ll sign a new GK.

I think we are looking for future play makers…Franca being the obvious link at the moment.

I wouldn't mind loans either, so long as we have options for the season.

I can see a mixture of loans and full transfers being used myself, and imagine two/three attackers, a wide back and a back up goalie being on the cards. Here's hoping anyway.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I didn't think we used loans well enough last season. Surely we could do with a full back on loan. I have no idea who. I also wonder if Nelson is worth a loan bid? Maybe with a million or so fee/ perhaps buy future option.
I've no idea if player or club would be interested.

I personally think you are being very optimistic, but, why do we need another 'keeper? We have, as it stands 3 1st team ones & an extremely promising U21's 'keeper in Whitworth. There has hardly been any mention in click-bait that Guaita is leaving, he's apparently only just recovered from an injury, as he posted last week in the gym with the words "im back".

When's the penny going to drop ?
Amongst the owners in terms of net worth, Parish is the messenger - his main interests are banging on in the media about the academy and developing the main stand (pie in the sky).
Our transfer business thus far has involved recycling contracts for 3 over 30s & a chronically injured player for another year plus this week making a massive saving in wages and getting in one free transfer, while Jimmy Mac, Luka and Butland have been offloaded.
In addition, we have recycled the cheap option as manager again whilst we watch clubs of a similar and smaller size outspending us for fun, because Parish loves the cheapest option.
I would love to be proved wrong but I expect not much better than loans to be the reality.

Whilst i agree with you about your description of NF, this link states he hasn't signed a contract extension & there is nothing on the club's website either . . .

i was going to suggest David Fofana, the young striker who signed for Chelsea in January from Molde. His arrival was overshadowed with bigger signing.

Unfortunately he was loaned out to H.Berlin a couple of weeks ago!
