This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I know he's no longer our player, but I still like to keep an eye out for Wilf.

When Zaha moved to to Galatasaray it was confirmed by the club that he will receive a £2m signing-on fee for joining the Istanbul team. He will also earn a £3.75m net annual wage which breaks down to around £72,000-a-week.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

An opportunity to live in a new country, experience new culture, play in the Champions League and also challenge for a league title. Let's also acknowledge that Galatasaray have a pretty good squad of quality/experiences pros who have played at the top level which Wilf could learn from - i.e Ziyech, Mertens, Icardi, Ndombele, Torreira, Angelino et. And that's of course without the added layer that, even if Gala didn't offer/match the stated amount above (if that's even true), he's still going to be on a very good wage.

Good luck to Wilf tonight. He's got his dream of playing Champions League football and he deserves it. He wouldn't get nights like Bayern Munich away with us. He turned down mega bucks from Saudi and reportedly from us to follow his dream. Can't knock him for that. Pretty rare with footballers these days. Hope he sticks one in the onion bag.
