Wonderful to see him make his debut tonight and win his first England Cap,after his serious injury last year.

Yep, really pleased for him. First time I've watched an England gimme qualifier in a long time just to see the Palace lads. Well done to them both and a proud moment in his career for Eze I'm sure.

Two Palace players on the pitch for England was great to see. Eze didn't have much time, but he looked very comfortable and made a couple of good moves. His recovery after that awful injury makes a compelling back story. I love the guy and just hope we have the privilege of watching him play in red and blue for a few years yet. Also good to hear Andros on commentary for Channel 4 - he clearly has a wealth of affection for Eze in particular and Palace in general.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Unlike another ex player who has nothing but contempt for the club who made hm a star !

It’s just a shame that we have Southgate as Manager - a man who plays Trent in the 10 rather than any actual number 10’s and still insists on playing Maguire.

Trent played 90 mins even though we were 3-0 up at half time, against a team who were never going to score. Let alone stage a remarkable comeback. Yet Southgate kept him there for his own selfish reasons, so that he could stroke his ego and say look how he’s doing people. I am a genius! We all know it’s Klopp that put Trent there. When he bought the 3 subs on and Eze wasn’t one of them I thought it would all turn out like Wilf for England.

I will repeat myself again, Eze is the most naturally gifted player since Gascoinge, already the best creative attacking English midfielder, miles better than Maddison and Grealish and better than the second best Foden
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

I agree that he impressed more than Foden or Madison on the night. I think he's going to play for England for years.
