We beat West Ham and they get a European Cup. Ted?

Congrats to West Ham for holding off a fiesty Fiorentina to get a European trophy. But I reckon a Ted Lasso run in the league next year and we are just as good to get one. Like to see a new defender and midfielder next year who are class to add to the squad. PS Is it a bit of fun that we have the same home strip now as Richmond?

The Pacqueta to Bowen goal was a poor semblance of the Eze to Edouard goal. Eze's pass was better and Edouard's strike was far cleaner and better placed.

Wasn't there a situation a few years ago where someone (Newcastle was it??) beat the then European champions (Barcelona?) then lost to us a few days later. Ergo we claimed to be the rightful champions of Europe. A bit like the jocks claiming to be World Champions when they beat England at Wembley in 1967.

West Ham undoubtedly have some scummy supporters, but there's also many decent spammers and I have some as good mates. I'm delighted for Spam. Hopefully we can also win a trophy one day, preferably while I'm the right side of the grass...

We have, if the spammers can celebrate the conference, then we can count the ZDS as a proper trophy It’s just a shame the closest we’ve got to Europe in recent years is playing Dover Athletic

Well done to West Ham. However, they may be a bigger club than us but we have better fans, better style and a better team for the small amount we have spent, as well as academy. They had all the luck the spammers for their European Cup.

And then to Upminister and back to Stratford before Bethnal Green and then to Chelmesdford, borrowing Villa's Claret and Blue theme. Just hope there are no fights with each other, nice blokes they are after all no hooliganaism or naughty behaviour at West Ham.

May seem like sour grapes but this is not the West Ham of Hurst, Moore and Peters being instead a bang average team that flirted with relegation for a good part of the season and played the kind of football that we disliked from Roy’s Palace team a few years ago.
