From Highgate apparently. happy to furnish your request........translated into Highgate New York Hebrew....( nope cannot cut and paste the text, nevermind ) I liked Jerry. He said that Trump robbed his show and put it into the White House. Edited by PalazioVecchio (27 Apr 2023 5.13pm)

Not a fan. Hated the dumbing down of popular culture and the exploitation of poor white people that he championed. A civilisational enemy as far as I am concerned.

Crassly exploited the poor (black and white) then tagged on a 'life lesson' as if there was some kind of moral to his exploitation of them. A moral equivilant of our very own Jeremy Kyle. That's not to say he was bad through and through. This is clearly sad for family and it looks like he was brave and charitable in terms of his cancer battle, just that the bulk of his career likely brought misery to those who got caught up in it for their '15 minutes of fame'.

suffice it to say, when your wife/girlfriend invites you to accompany her onto the Show......your relationship is doomed. Jerry pioneered the idea of a TV studio being policed by an army of bouncers.

Yeah he was one of the first to cash in on televising the human zoo at it's worst. It's a bit like throwing a tenner in front of some heroin addicts, watching one die in the ensuing melee, then giving a talk on the dangers of drugs to those spectating. He made a fortune nonetheless and I have little sympathy for any guests so there you go.
