Died I remember him/her (or should it be they now) singing on Parky (I think): 'Spunk spunk spunk. We are full of British spunk'.

RIP to the chairman who sits on the Australian Cheese board. Seriously, younger Eagles...you must youtube sir Leslie colin Patterson. See what comedy was like before the joyless po faced lefties tried to kill it.

Great comedian of the seventies and eighties when you could just last at someone who was outrageous without having to check your white guilt. RIP Dame Edna

RIP you funny man. All the eulogies that will be spoken and written about him will say he was a comic genius. They will be right. He was truly funny and clever with it. Like Palazio said, he was not a comedian of today, he was borderline filthy. Saw his show in London many years ago and he worked the audience with skill and terrific spontaneous, ad-lib humour. I laughed throughout and can never see Gladioli without associating them with him.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Yes people have their favourites but he was creative and multi talented. Him, Kenny Everett and co always provided a good and suitably absurd laugh.

He was a very funny man and used to have my grandfather in stitches. His contribution to humour spanned decades. RIP Barrie Humphries.

Even now, when someone dies you have to bring politics into it! Do you have no respect, or are you always a complete axxxxxxx?
