I heard he phoned up Parish and said he will give us Gallagher for our first pick next year and our second pick for the next two seasons But yes Chelsea in general are one s***e club . Propped up by mega bucks and rubles over the years that has led to a bloated squad of similar players Without European football next season they will need a fire sale in the summer ,they still also need to appoint a manager , again without any European football will struggle to attract an elite coach . They are a club on a downward spriral ,it might not be terminal but as we have seen this season with simlar size clubs like Everton you cant take anything for granted

Really can’t stand their arrogant supporters.

To put it simplistically, I think Chelsea may well be the latest and hopefully worst case of individuals getting involved in football when... they know nothing about football. It does almost seem scripted, Ted Lasso et al style, in fulfilling a stereotype of Septics attempting to build an 'all-star' team, an American model which may work in their sports but can go very wrong in our football, the actual football. It's a hotch potch of a team, without any identity or recognisable structure, funded via a ludicrous and unsustainable financial model (if you can call it that). They were a genuine club, with a strong identity, however became some sort of global corporation as a tool for a Soviet criminal, exploiting the club for personal motivations. They have had success and good times, lots of them in fact, however this could end badly, very badly, and if so would be nothing less than what they f**king deserve.

Will any of the buys turn out to be any good? I've no idea who they bought - Fernandez, Mudryk, all I can think of. Presumably there was a striker? I must be missing someone massive if they spent 500mil.
