Just our luck, he’s been banned for eight games. This makes him available for his first game back against us.Hopefully we are safe by then as don’t fancy a very nervy last game against Forest on the last day.

He is, generally speaking, the c***s c***. Aggressive and physical to defenders, but then throws himself to the floor when touched. A big, hard character who throws his weight around, but then s***s himself and drives home from the training ground when the teammate comes back at him. Does all the 'Thak You NHS' stuff on telly during covid, but disregards the lockdown (along with our own t*** of the day, Luka). For his actions towards the referee an eight-game ban is the very least he should have been given, and his return against Palace is of far less concern to me than the impact of his actions for every Sunday league ref in the land. I see far too much abuse and disrespect towards officials at grass roots level, and there is no doubt that, like diving, it is inspired by the actions of the top-level pros. I can only hope we get Andy Thorn and Eric Young out of retirement for the Fulham game, just to do the w***er. Other than that, he's fine by me...

And he misses games against West Ham, Leeds, Everton, Leicester and Southampton. Fulham, of course, lost to Bournemouth last weekend.

Surprisingly lenient in my view. Not sure if it will deter enough.

Apparently the FA might appeal the decision of the independent commission because they want a longer ban. Let's see how that plays out.

he got a red card for what he did and 3 match automatic ban. I think this would have been enough. if it was another "top 6" club player doing the same it would be all forgotten now and id be surprised if a yellow was even given on the day.

The sensible decision would have been to ban him for the remainder of the season. Letting him play in Fulham's final games with all the end of season parades etc. surely sends the wrong message. Banning him for longer would be a bit daft as message would be lost in the new season.
