As someone posted earlier, our last two wins against Leicester City have resulted in their manager being sacked straight afterwards (Puel and Rodgers). This has been a topic among my Palace mates and me for years - the uncanny frequency of a club being able to suffer any indignity, but not a defeat against Crystal Palace. I think 3 or 4 is a big underestimate, but I never kept a note of them all, unfortunately.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

In a similar vein, did we not relegate a few teams with wins when we were all but safe? Stoke spring immediately to mind
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Being beaten by Palace has been the footballing equivalent of the litmus test. Lose to us and there is no hope and all is lost.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
