The last 11 games Ray ( & Roy) will be looking for an on pitch Leader
The righteous dude that other players will respect & dig in the extra 10% when they feel mentally/ physically stuffed.

In past we Had Jedinak / McCarthy / Cabaye / Thomas / Freedman / McGoldrick

These guys fought for the badge & lifted the players when the chips were down

Who should do it ; Andersen / Milo / Zaha / Ward

Zaha : 11 games b4 he likely leaves for good - reknown for scoring & turning on the styles - yet also for dummy spits hands up in the air ( not at a race either) & despondent words, head shakes, eye rolls & words to self

Milo : 11 games b4 he’s asked to leave - good for giving the ball to opponents in own half & going awol

Ward : 11 games b4 Wrexham require his survives - quite chap - good Christian blood - no foul language

Andersen: Is turning into a fan fav,a trusted source - can produce great defensive duo with Marc - can crest a killer pass, yet seemingly humble chap

So who in this squad is the Leader on the Pitch that will dig deep & step up in your minds ?

Luka is club captain, Jmac is vice-captain. Wardy has been captain several times as has MG, also, so has Wilf. So, bearing all that in mind, im going for SCHLUPPY. . .

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I thought Andersen was going to be 'sidelined' for a while through injury.

Anyway, frankly if I had to depend on any of the current squad to dig in and fight for my life, I'd be making sure my will was up to date.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

It's probably the time difference.

For my money Andersen would be favourite to yell, cajole, and push to get some discipline in the ranks. He appears to get angry very quickly, which would be a good thing.

Guehi doesn't yet have the presence to be forceful enough and Zaha is only interested in Zaha.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I believe Guehi was England U21s Captain. I could be wrong. You're right about Zaha. Andersen could possibly do it.
