I'm sorry to have to announce that Jamesey, who wrote 'Jamesey's Veteran View' for many years, passed away last week after a short illness.

He'd been a regular season ticket holder at Selhurst Park for many years and watched thousands of matches as well as travelling to away games and written accounts of these which were posted on Holmesdale.net

He is survived by his wife, Mary.

Paul Howard (Nephew)

That is very sad news , I remember Jamesey from when I was on the old site from age of 12 ,
A legend of this site and always will be

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

Very sad news indeed, condolences to his family - his scriptures & particular viewpoint on the events that had taken place at the weekend involving Palace were always very much appreciated & looked forward too by yours truly -

He has already been sorely missed & will continue to be so for many years to come I am confident of that.
